Create Your Vision and Manifest Your Dreams

Sitting at my desk today, I cannot help but to bask in gratitude as I feel like I am truly living out some of my wildest dreams!  We opened a treatment room at Hidden Springs Integrative Health (at Hidden Springs Farm) this week for licensed massage therapist, Laura Paul, to provide bodywork services for clients seeking relaxation and renewal. From our signature massage, to ashiatsu, and reflexology, targeted headache relief, cupping, hot stone, and so much more, Laura can definitely help you recover your best self. We both are now booking Reiki therapy as well.  Wow!  I am self-employed in this beautiful setting, making my own schedule, helping others, and I have other providers sharing and working in my space too.  This was something I had dreamed about and now it is real.

A big part of my coaching service includes helping others manifest their own best-life visions.  Sounds easy, right? IT IS! That’s the cool part.  Most of us hold ourselves back because we don’t know our true goals and we live in constant fear of the unknown. That changes today.  You can start working on this on your own by creating a vision board.  Our mind responds to visual stimuli, so simply seeing the images can activate the powerful emotions your images represent. Remember, the law of attraction states that positive thoughts bring positive results into your life.

HOW TO CREATE A VISION BOARD

Step One: Get clear on your dreams

Decide what it is you want in your life then begin to illustrate them visually.  Think about what matters most to you and why it’s important. Then, collect images that represent the life you want to remind you about your journey.  Search magazines, social media, advertisements and fliers.

Step Two: Divide your board into sections

Each section serves to separate aspects of your health and wellbeing.  You might want to focus on relationships, community, employment or your physical fitness or mindset.  Consider leaving room for new inspirations that might come up during the year.

Step Three: Add inspiring quotes and affirmations

Sayings that support good feelings and good vibes most definitely belong on your board. Your board should be an authentic reflection of who you are as well as the life you wish to create. Use images and colors that make you feel good. This process alone could be an eye-opening experience as you learn about your true inspiration.

Step Four: Put it where you can see it

Put the board somewhere you see it frequently (and maybe not somewhere your guests might view it, unless you are prepared to talk about your vision).  Spend time each day visualizing, affirming, believing in, and embodying your goals. This might be meditation time in the morning or quiet time in the evening (so your subconscious mind continues to actualize your dreams). Or, if you work at home, perhaps you spend your lunch hour reminding yourself why you are doing what you are doing and what your end goal looks like.

Step Five: Practice your visualizations consistently

As you continue to practice visualizing your ultimate life, acknowledge and hold gratitude for all your achievements, big and small.  Continue to believe in your vision and attract all that you want in life.

Dreams come true because we make them come true.  With personal growth, your vision boards will also expand. Working with a nurse coach or health coach can help you create your vision and live to your dreams.  I use multiple tools like this one to help clients tune in to living their best life.  We can work on your biggest challenges, allowing your new lifestyle to feel better than ever before!
